American Embassy Prague - Apartments in Vlasska Street
The American Embassy in Prague offers apartments for both short and long term use. They can only be used by DoD personnel (also retired and/or family members) and DoS employees (also retired and/or family members). The apartments are located just beside the Embassy on Vlasska Street, the very safe centre of old Prague. Vlasska Street is right in the heart of Mala Strana (Little Quarter / Lesser Town), the oldest quarter of Prague.
Our charming and quaint 17th century building has been recently renovated to modern western standards to ensure your comfort and enjoyment of Prague. It is a historically listed building, named "At the Golden Scales".
As you enter through the front door you will be surprised to find a very pleasant, romantic and ancient house. You can choose either of our two second floor apartments or you can book both of them if you have a big family. Up to four people may stay in each apartment. Each apartment is very spacious with 700 square feet and consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and large hallway. Apartments have either a view of Vlasska Street or Trziste Street.
All apartments are fully furnished and equipped. Full maid service,
linens, towels and all hygiene supplies are provided at no extra charge.
The couch
in the living room pulls out to form a double bed if needed.
In the bedroom are two single queen size beds which can be pushed together to form
a double bed also. The bathroom is airy and there is a plenty of hot
water for either a bath or shower. A TV set, satellite and multimode DVD with access to Embassy DVD library (Mo-Fri upon request) is available. Full maid service is
provided during the week.
